The Rule of Law

Four examples of how Comrade Lawyer Soetero and his court view the world:

1) David Hardy explains why the flag@whitehouse.gov heath-care informant line never should have been established under existing Federal law;

2) Glenn Reynolds links this WSJ piece on Eric Holder's DoJ decision not to investigate the Black Panthers' vote suppression efforts in the 2008 elections:

***
...The episode—which Bartle Bull, a former civil rights lawyer and publisher of the left-wing Village Voice, calls “the most blatant form of voter intimidation I’ve ever seen”—began on Election Day 2008. Mr. Bull and others witnessed two Black Panthers in paramilitary garb at a polling place near downtown Philadelphia. (Some of this behavior is on YouTube.)

One of them, they say, brandished a nightstick at the entrance and pointed it at voters and both made racial threats. Mr. Bull says he heard one yell “You are about to be ruled by the black man, cracker!” . . .
***

3) Also from Reynolds is this article on the new Federal initiative against recalled items being sold at garage sales -- a keen allocation of limited Federal investigative resources, notwithstanding the hundreds of billions of dollars in fraudulent activity over the past five years in the finance and banking industries;

4) Finally, working the ground covered earlier in the week by David Codrea, there's this coverage of the link between "heath care" and gun control/confiscation.

Feel safer now, kiddies?

Do you have any better idea now why Beck scoffs at the very notion of a "rule of law"?

fron The Hill dot com:
"While Pratt said he has not expressly asked his group’s membership to brandish their firearms at political forums, he fully supports the demonstrators who were seen earlier this week with their LICENSED GUNS protesting outside the Phoenix convention center where Presdent Barack Obama was speaking."

There are no "licenses" required to Open Carry a firearm in AZ. The only paperwork that exists is maybe a 4473 from the original purchase of the weapon. Is this phrase to pacify editors/readers in DC or NYC?

From over the transom:

"...new Federal initiative against recalled items being sold at garage sales ..."

Garage sales are were outside the bailiwick of 'sales' taxers / local 'authorituhs', and are were below the radar of 'income' taxers. No longer.
