I've nothing at all against communism, or communists, provided that they are voluntary associations.
In a free society, any group is free to join together and share their resources. And in any such group, each individual is free to leave.
The problem with Communists isn't that they prefer living in a communal association, but that they are bound and determined to force everyone else into their association.
It's an illness.
They like the feeling of community they get, when they participate in communal gatherings. And they want everyone else to share that feeling. So they try to force everyone else into their community. And then are unable to understand why the people they've forced act like people who've been kidnapped.
You guys should really take a walk with your girlfriends in the nice spring weather. Talk about where you want to go for dinner and a movie. Nobody is out to get you and take away your freedoms. There's no reason to be so afraid of the rest of us.
