Will Washington's Failures Lead To Second American Revolution?

Thanks to the readers who pointed to this op-ed piece from Investor's Business Daily:

The Internet is a large-scale version of the "Committees of Correspondence" that led to the first American Revolution — and with Washington's failings now so obvious and awful, it may lead to another.

People are asking, "Is the government doing us more harm than good? Should we change what it does and the way it does it?"
***

IBD is a mainstream, albeit conservative, periodical.

For this editorial to be published by IBD shows how far and how fast the Obamites have come.

And make no mistake - the Bad People are only getting started.

Are there enough remaining Americans with the brains and the guts to stop them -- by any means necessary?

You make the call.

Whoa!
Lightbulbs are starting to go on in new places.
Of course there are those who welcome the shove-it-down-your-throat approach. The health care industry sees "lots of new opportunities for employment" with Obamacare. Short-sighted fools. Doctors in England's socialized medicine system are treated like car mechanics.

Q: "Will Washington's Failures Lead To Second American Revolution?"

A: No.

For the same reasons a racist anti-american communist got elected president.

The reality of how we got here, suggests more of the same for the future.

The data suggest that people will sit back, complain, starve the monkey (or is it spank the monkey), and let criminals do whatever the criminals want. As the criminals do more and more, even they must be surprised at how easy it was to have a coup and steal the nation.

(Please explain how any other outcome is possible, and consider Argentina.)

(further explanation...)

frustrated that we could have let the coup occur.

frustrated that only 2-3 oath keepers did their jobs (a few out of millions).

frustrated that judges no longer have any familiarity with the Constitution.

That reality sucks. But it is reality.

You are far too reality-oriented.

What you need is a gramme of Soma!

Sofa;
Exactly what I keep saying too. No one wants to lift a finger to do anything, for fear of being the first to be shot or imprisoned and no one else follows your lead.(ME included) I have stood up for groups in the past and find myself the only one standing, the rest too afraid to open their mouth. After doing that a few times you realize the dumb peasants don't want help. They'd all rather watch you get your head chopped off by yourself.

So how does one tip the cart and not stand out alone? Where do the true patriots come together as a group, instead of dying one at a time and seperate? And as a subject of public scorn for their actions.

This is getting very frustrating, to say the least. Knowing human nature, I can't help but fully agree with Sofa. More of the same, for a long time.

No, not even close. There may, however, be enough to rebuild when the whole thing comes crashing down.

Will anyone bother to admit that "Law Enforcement", in direct violation of their oath of office to "...preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution..." are the Great Enablers for the sewage? Neither Obama nor Pelosi nor Reid nor Naplitano nor Holder nor... will lift a finger against those who observe the Constitution. Instead, "Law Enforcement" will bow and scrape before their Masters and then do whatever they're told. Be sure to thank them appropriately for the Outstanding Job that they are doing!

A Part of the Answer:
IGA (Individual Guerrilla Action), Monkey Wrenching, etc.

Be creative, be deliberate, be patient, be very very careful, then be ruthless.

To Jimmy the Saint

"There may, however, be enough to rebuild when the whole thing comes crashing down."

And they are know as The Remnant, and are amongst us.

Atlas,
Thanks, it's what I already assume is the norm in my AO. The other vets around here are not on our wave length and would see this as what Fox would call "home grown terrorism". They just don't understand the Constitution left us a long time ago. And most of them would rather sit around the VFW and drink beer and bitch about the favorite topic on Fox this week. Whatever Fox says is OK with them.
So, yes, it's IGA here. But that's just what an old Recon Marine needs to stay fit.
