I take exception to the comment about TR. If Teddy were alive today, he would be right at home with our jingoist, interventionist foreign policy and the Nanny State stiicking its nose into any domestic matter he felt like. Remember, it was he who coined the term "BULLY PULPIT". If you want to see what the American mindset was like during TR's era, read the book: LITTLE BROWN BROTHER. Oh, and check out how we got the Panama Canal. Yes, TR would be right at home in the 2011 White House.
